Safety & Peace of Mind

We follow strict home access and key-handling policies to keep your home secure. In the rare event of an emergency, we’ll contact you and your nominated vet right away, ensuring your pet receives the right care without delay.

Personal Care, Every Time

Each Furfolk carer is carefully screened, insured, and police-checked. You’ll have the same familiar face visiting each time, so your pet can build trust and routine. We take the time to get to know your pets’ quirks, preferences, and personality – because every animal deserves personalised care.

Dogs needing a quick midday toilet break or backyard play

Cats who like company and feeding while you’re out

Puppies adjusting to a new routine

Senior pets needing medication or comfort

Frequently Asked Questions

What type of pets do you care for?

While dogs and cats are our most common clients, we also care for a range of other pets. From birds and chickens to fish, reptiles and small animals, we’ll always confirm what’s involved before booking to make sure your pet is matched with a carer who’s comfortable and experienced with their needs.

Is Pop-in & Play the same as a dog walk?

Pop-in & Play is a short drop-in visit at your home, not a full, on-lead dog walk around the neighbourhood. For dogs who need more exercise, you can combine Pop-in & Play with a dedicated dog walking service so they get both mental stimulation and a proper walk.

Is Pop-in & Play suitable if I’m away overnight or for several days?

Pop-in & Play is designed for shorter absences, like work days or evenings out. If you’re going away overnight or longer, we recommend booking our holiday drop-in visits instead, with one or more visits per day to cover feeding, litter changes, medication and full welfare checks.

How does the sitter gain entry to my home?

To make visits smooth and stress-free, we’ll confirm the safest way to access your home during your meet & greet. Many clients use a lockbox or secure key location, while others prefer an on-site solution such as a side gate or garage entry.

If none of these options work, we’ll discuss alternatives that suit your home and schedule. Your carer will only access your property for booked visits, and all access details are handled securely.

What happens during a Pop-in & Play visit?

During a Pop-in & Play visit, your sitter pops in to give your pet a toilet break, fresh water, food (if needed) and some one-on-one playtime or cuddles. We’ll also do a quick home check, like bringing in mail and checking doors and gates, so everything’s as it should be when you get home.

Can you give medication or look after pets with special needs?

Yes. Many of our carers are experienced with medication, seniors, anxious pets and animals with specific care plans. Just let us know the details at your Free Meet & Greet so we can match you with the right carer and document everything clearly.
